First off a huge thanks to an oppo!

So Barrett Jackson. If you have never been it’s so much more than the auction you see on TV. It was my Disneyland. The range of cars is way better than any car show or meeting. The entire staff was very outgoing and friendly along with most of the visitors. It was amazing to talk to everyone who shared the same interest wether they were sellers, buyers or just visitors.

Watching a 91 Bentley turbo r in great condition go for only 10500 was crazy especially when it was followed by a 50s dodge truck that was an unrestored rust buck that barely ran go for 16000.

The green cord, one of my all time favorites won 1st at national classic car. It was fully restored to original with only 50 miles. AND YOU COULD BUT IT. (GOES BUT LOTTO TICKET)

My wife keeps telling me we should go to one of the auctions, either BJ or Mecum, but I’ve been hesitant. I know I’d love to see all of those dream cars but I’m worried that the desire to buy, and more so the inability to do so, would bum me out.

i went to vegas a few years back for barrett jackson with my dad and uncles and it was awesome, id love to go back but now that mecum comes to chicago my dad and i just do that every year and save a few thousand dollars in flights and hotel fares lol
